KUALA LUMPUR, August 25 - Esso Malaysia Berhad (EMB) and ExxonMobil Malaysia Sdn Bhd (EMMSB) announced today that they will discontinue selling LPG in industrial size cylinders of 49kg and 50kg for commercial reasons with immediate effect.

All commercial, industrial and other customers who currently have such Essogas and Mobilgas industrial size cylinders are requested to return them to EMB's and EMMSB's authorised dealers immediately, no later than October 21, 2008 to be entitled (where applicable) to obtain a refund of their deposits from the authorised dealers.

All authorised dealers must return all such Essogas and Mobilgas industrial size cylinders to EMB and EMMSB no later than October 31, 2008 to be entitled (where applicable) to obtain a refund of their deposits.

After the above deadlines, EMB and EMMSB will not accept any responsibility or liability for any Essogas and Mobilgas industrial size cylinders.  Any use, possession and/or dealing with Essogas and Mobilgas industrial size cylinders beyond the above deadlines are unauthorised and illegal, and EMB and EMMSB each expressly reserve all rights in full.

EMB and EMMSB will continue to sell LPG in household/domestic cylinder sizes of 11 kg, 12kg and 14kg under the Essogas and Mobilgas brands, which are not affected by this withdrawal.
