JOHOR BAHRU, November 8 - Esso Malaysia Berhad (Esso) and ExxonMobil Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Mobil), which are part of the ExxonMobil Subsidiaries in Malaysia, have upgraded the image and facilities of 50 service stations in Johor Bahru. The image upgrading programme which commenced in April this year, also saw about 20 Mobil-branded service stations re-branded to Esso. The new look for the stations reflects ExxonMobil's latest image for all its service stations worldwide.
The reimaging programme is aimed at increasing the visibility of the Esso brand while providing consistent retail offerings at all stations. Customers can look forward to enhancements to the service stations with re-imaged and brighter forecourts, a good selection of merchandise including nasi lemak and coffee at upgraded Tigermarts and refurbished toilets. Esso Malaysia Berhad Retail Business Director Faridah Ali said, "At Esso and Mobil, We are Drivers Too and we constantly strive to meet our customers' needs for high quality products and excellent service. As business entities, Esso and Mobil continuously look for opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and grow the business." "We hope to strengthen our network presence and enhance awareness of our products such as Smiles Driver Rewards, Synergy Fuel systems, Tigermart and On the Run," she added.
To celebrate the fresh new look, customers are invited to the 'Esso Karnival' which will be held at seven stations in Johor Bahru every Saturday throughout the month of November.
The station dealers have organised various charity events at their stations such as blood donations and charity sales.
