With operations in close to 200 countries and territories and throughout our more than 120-year history, ExxonMobil has a long tradition of community involvement.  We believe in making positive contributions in the communities where we work and live in. In 2007, ExxonMobil contributed US$207 million to charities and organizations worldwide. 

In Malaysia, we contribute some RM2 million annually to a range of community causes and projects to benefit the communities, especially in Terengganu, Negeri Sembilan and the Klang Valley.

We work collaboratively with government and non-government bodies and community leaders to identify areas of need and how best to meet them. While education has been our main focus, we also support projects in the areas of welfare, environment and the arts.
